Hotel Star Classifications
In the hotel business, the more stars an establishment has, the more luxurious it is supposed to be. Though there is actually no standardised system in use for classifying the various hotels around the world, the industry generally follows a five-star system. One star stands for tourist, two for standard, three for comfort, four for first class, and five for “luxus”, which is considered to be the highest classification or rating which a particular lodging can aspire to. However, there are certain hotels which exhibit such superlative levels of luxury that even a ranking of five stars is not adequate to express their sheer magnificence.

Five Star Accommodation
The Crown Macau found in Taipa Island, for instance, is said to be a six-star hotel, as well as the St. Regis Shanghai Hotel in China, the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Oriental Bangkok in Thailand, the Palazzo Versace in Australia’s Gold Coast, the Seoul Park Hyatt in South Korea, and the Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island. But even these marvellous buildings cannot compare with the striking Burj Al Arab in Dubai, which was the first ever hotel to be lauded as a seven-star establishment. Later, the charming Town House Galleria in Milan, Italy, also received a similar distinction.
So, for your next holiday abroad, you might want to consider checking into one of these hotels and experience the great hospitality they provide to their guests for yourself.
